Her portfolio includes retail management, social media management, and visual merchandising. When it comes to pop-ups, she’s participated, curated, and hosted pop-ups since 2014.

Not everyone will be a fit at the same time for various reasons. We don’t want this to discourage you. We respect you and your unique journey. If this is the case, we have other ways to partner with us right now. Like for example our popular pickup service. Please ask us how 🙏

We’re located in Whitby. Our store is minutes from the 401 and Thickson Rd., on a busy street, close to popular shopping and dining. With ample free parking.

To sell in store, makers and artisans must be within driving distance to us.

The Maker’s Hub retail model is low monthly rent + 12% commission on sales.

New terms start at 3 months.

Our shorter terms nurture our shoppers’ interests to discover something new each visit. Plus they give you an opportunity to try our model on a short-term commitment. Longer terms and extensions look at several things. Some include, our relationship, sales, market trends, proof of demand, seasonal interests, restocking ability, social media.

The Hub model includes selling in-store, online, and our pickup/shipping fulfillment services.

Our dedicated team handles all fulfillment. This includes online sales, communication, picking, packing, shipping (Canada wide), and in-store pickups. Giving you a larger marketplace, without giving you more order processing. That’s extra time on your side to do whatever you want!

Cheryl, loves to merchandise and pick displays that compliment our boutique esthetic. That means no worrying if your products look good, leaving security deposits, or designing and building a display. Saving you time, money, and stress.

If you’re interested storage and restocking services, we offer that too. Pricing starts as low as $15/month. Again, finding ways to save you time and increase your sales!!

In our offers, we share a picture + dimensions of the display(s). As well as our vendor agreement for your review. You'll have all the details to consider before committing. No surprises.

Social media is a big part of how we advertise. As a vendor with us, we expect you to take part. In fact, it's right in our agreement.

We don’t charge our shoppers added service fees at checkout. You're expected to build your expenses into your ticket price. If you collect hst, it's charged at checkout, and a detailed monthly report with the breakdown supplied. This makes it super easy for you come tax season.

Food vendors are required to produce their products in a Dinesafe approved kitchen (or equivalent heath inspected approval for your area), hold a current Food Handlers permit, business insurance, and label ingredients with a best before (or expiry) dates. This includes human and pet food food.

Bath & Body vendors are required to have business insurance and industry-compliant labeling in English.

Teething product vendors are required to have 2 million liability insurance and use food-grade silicone and products.

We love our outdoor markets. They take place in front of our handmade boutique in Whitby, May – Oct, on the second Saturday of the month.

They're for you if you like connecting, collaborating, and in person selling.

You set up outside our handmade boutique. The location is super easy to find, minutes from the 401 and Thickson Rd. It's a busy street, close to popular shopping (SoftMoc Warehouse) and dining destinations (including a micro-brewery and deli!).

Our pop-up markets include a professional photographer capturing the moments. You'll receive two professional photos following the event. Which is great for your social media and website!

We give you support and inspiration as we lead up in our FB vendor’s group. It’s a great group for learning, networking, and asking questions before the event date.

Set up and tear down is the easiest around. You can drive right up to unload and pack up. Which also makes the pop-up wheelchair and stroller friendly.

In our invite we’ll offer you a date. We aim for your preferred date. If that date doesn't work, we’ll look for a date that does.

Our application is open to makers and artisans within driving distance of our store.

We’ll be in touch with all applicants.

Our value. Connections, community, and new customers. More than that though, we pride ourselves on our vendor support. Through which you'll gain access to our years of experience, knowledge, and networking opportunities. There's also sales opportunities, and of course, the coveted social media posts, tags, and shares on our platforms (IG, FB, Newsletter).

Our social media expectations. We expect all vendors to take part in social media activities. This includes posting, sharing, and commenting for 6 weeks, min once a week, leading up to the event.

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER - If a market date is cancelled due to weather, we’ll move to the next day (Sunday). If the weather is still not suitable, we’ll do our best to find another date. If a 'rain date' cannot be secured a full refund (less processing fees) will be issued.

These are short retail terms. Designed with quick, easy access into retail. No long-term commitments, or admin set up.

We’ve made it easy to remember the terms – 30/30/30.

That's $30 dollars, 30 days, 30 units.

Units are the total number of inventories you can have in stock at any given time. If you have large products this is subject to change based on display and storage space.

As your products sell, you can drop off restocks during your term to bring them back up to 30.

This is a call list. It's active for a year from the date you filled it out. You are welcome to decline a call. In which case you’re moved to the bottom of the list.

Our brand standards apply (detailed below).

We invite based on space, category, speed of acceptance, and the ability to drop off fast. Remembering it’s a flash pop-up, so timing matters.

There’s no admin work to get set up. You only need to tag your products with your assigned vendor # and price.

You won’t receive a set display, but instead your products are merchandised within the store by our team.
