These angels are made from repurposed silver spoons with silver plated wings and AB coated head beads which will catch and reflect the light. AB stands for Aurora Borealis, (or the Northern Lights), which appear as beautiful dancing waves of light predominately seen in high-latitude regions. When the sun or tree lights hit these beads, they shimmer and beautiful colours can be seen. (Fun Fact - AB coating was developed by Daniel Swarovski for Christian Dior in 1955) These make a unique gift for someone who loves tea, antiques or simply feels good about repurposing beautiful items from our past and giving them a second life.
